GLOBAL LOGISTICS NETWORK FOR SERVICE PARTS STOCKING AND DELIVERY
Choice Logistics has grown its global logistics network to more than 800 available strategic stocking locations (SSLs), which are arranged in a hierarchy to match each client's global inventory management and time-critical delivery requirements. SSLs include:
- Field Stocking Locations (FSLs) – More than 400 FSLs in 79 countries are currently active, storing and delivering critical service parts for Choice Logistics clients within timeframes as short as one hour.
- Regional Distribution Centers (RDCs) – Choice Logistics has eight RDCs that are aligned with FSLs and serve as a hub for international shipping, inventory replenishment, and returns management.
- In-Country Hubs – For time-sensitive deliveries in certain countries, Choice Logistics may designate an SSL to serve as an in-country hub in conjunction with Global Trade Solutions, mitigating Customs and related import/export issues.
Each SSL adheres to strict ISO-certified processes to ensure consistent inventory management at each facility. Regardless of the geography, number or hierarchy of SSLs that comprise a client's time-critical logistics solution, the Global Logistics Center in New York, NY, and Critical Service Parts Insight (CSPI), Choice Logistics' unified global inventory management and dispatch system, integrate the entire operation.
